I never know what to say when writing in these "about me" sections. There is so much to know! I am so indecisive, so naturally I can't decide what to share. But I will attempt to give you me in a nutshell: I was born and raised in Kentucky and moved to Ohio when I was seven. It is hard being so far away from my family, but I am just lucky to have been blessed with such amazing and supportive parents. I have a sister, Molly, who is one of my best friends and my biggest fan. Oh, and I also have an openly gay dog named Sugar. I am so thankful for my incredible friends.. my life wouldn't be quite as exciting without them. Ok, actually it wouldn't be exciting at all! If you were to ask any of them to describe me in three words... random and slightly crazy would probably be the most frequently used. Hopefully fun-loving, adventurous, and down-to-earth would surface too.

my somewhat blog-worthy blog?
Ohh Sweet Summertime.
When I think of summer I think cook outs.. fireflies.. pond parties.. bonfires... flip flops... bikinis... tans...and summer romances/flings/lovin... whatever you prefer to call it, haha. All of the following are guaranteed... except the last one. Okay... now I'm not going down the poor-me-i-don't-have-a-love-life road; but I am going down the aw-I-semi-kinda-sorta-hope some hot guy will sweep me off my feet road. I've been going down this road for quite some time now.... and I'm driving around in circles. A few fun pit stops here and there.. some speed bumps.. but i'm afraid it's coming into a dead end!! I see all of these cute couples walking around holding hands, kissing, and gazing into each others eyes haha...SO cheesy, but it kinda makes me want that! It's been tooooo long. I know that when that guy comes along.. it'll be when I least expect it... or I'll realize that he's been right in front of my eyes all along. Ok, enough of that.. just letting that out.
Okay I thought I had more interesting thoughts to share.. but they have slipped my mind... ooops!

four years later...
So it took me a good ten minutes to title this blog and figure out how to start this back up again! I cannot believe I found my old old xanga from my sophmore year of highschool... it's amazing to see how things have changed, yet have stayed the same. My personality hasn't changed at all... not sure if this is a good or bad thing .. let's stick with good
I'm not quite sure how blogs are suppose to work, but I'm going to use it as an online journal, mainly for myself for now. I think they're supposed to have a common theme? But I'm going to use it as a way to express myself, vent, share philosophical thoughts, write about random occurrences that happen, share stories that hopefully others can relate to, upload photos, and document memories since I tend to forget things easily. I would love to have people that follow it... but I'm not exactly sure how that works or if they would even be interested in my ramblings. We'll see.
There is no possible way I could catch up from where I left off to where i am now, without writing a novel. I didn't realize how many changes could occur within a time frame of four years. My life has had it's ups and downs.. I have loved.. lived.. lost.. and learned. I have gone through experiences that have forever changed my perspective on life and I have grown on so many different levels. I can only imagine what I will be like at 24... eek! scares me to death!
Well it is almost 2am... so I better head off to bed. I'll try to think of a enticing topic to write about tomorrow. A blog-worthy, captivating and absorbing topic.
